This event is being timed by the ChampionChip system, therefore you are required to have a valid ChampionChip to participate in this event. When doing an on-line registration you are required to enter your ID Number. If you have previously entered on-line with Cycle Events the system will automatically insert your most recent ChampionChip Number. The onus is on the rider to confirm the validity of his/her ChampionChip Number. This can be done by via the Internet at www.championchip.co.za or by contacting ChampionChip Africa on 0861 100 963. Alternatively, if you currently do not have a Champion Chip, you can purchase one on-line as you register for the race. Your new chip and mounting clip will be supplied with your race number at Number Collection. In your own interests you should confirm the minimum requirements and instructions on how to attach the chip correctly. This can also be done via the ChampionChip website or by telephone as described above. Strictly NO CHIP, NO TIME, NO PRIZE
